Montana AFL-CIO Backs Quist for Congress, “Rob Quist is a homegrown Montanan”
Posted On: Apr 27, 2017

Following interviews with Rob Quist, Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress and Greg Gianforte, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, the Montana AFL-CIO's Executive Board voted unanimously to endorse Rob Quistto fill the Congressional seat vacated by now Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke.

"Working families across Montana are struggling because the rules of the economy have been rigged against the middle class. Rob Quist is a homegrown Montanan who understands the challenges working people face. As Montana's sole Representative, Rob Quist will stand up for worker rights, oppose cuts to Social Security, oppose cuts to Medicaid and Medicare, and force Washington start working for Main Street, not Wall Street," said Al Ekblad, Executive Secretary of the Montana AFL-CIO.

The Montana AFL-CIO represents over 50,000 working Montanans and their families.
