NO RIGHTS AT WORK: UNFAIR, UNSAFE, UNNECESSARY “Right-to-Work ” is a misleading name for a law that lowers wages for all workers. We call it ‘No Rights at Work’ because that is what it really means. It forces worker organizations (unions) to provide representation and negotiation services free of charge. By starving the union of funding, No Rights at Work laws destroy working standards because it facilitates the collapse of labor unions. In destroying unions it banishes collective bargaining and all the rights, wage increases, and safe and fair working conditions that they address.
